The tool is, in general well designed, but I found the threads on the inserts a little rough. That and the aluminum was nicked, causing a spot where the slide will catch. I don't know how the nick in the aluminum occurred, but it seems likely that it happened before shipping as there was nothing in the packaging that could have caused the damage.
